Kingdom of Denmark's U.S. Embassy Meets with ThayerMahan to Discuss Ørsted and Eversource Partnership
Chargé d'Affaires Stuart Dwyer, Regional Science & Technology Officer Brett Makens, and Senior Commercial Officer Chris Wilken met virtually with John Kao (Executive Chairman) and senior leadership from ThayerMahan Inc., to hear about their partnership with Ørsted and Eversource Energy. It's a great example of the kind of transatlantic innovative collaboration that will not only help us mitigate climate change but also help ensure those efforts don't have adverse side effects. ThayerMahan Inc.'s technology is designed to help Ørsted reduce any disruption offshore wind projects might have on North Atlantic marine life and the local fishing fleets. American and Danish companies have unique opportunities in the battle against climate change, and it is vital that we utilize each other's areas of expertise to get the best results.
