Mike is responsible for leading the Human Resources function and is focused on creating and implementing recruiting and total rewards strategies that attract and retain talent

Bio

Prior to joining ThayerMahan, Mike held various roles as Vice President of Human Resources for a U.S. based electrical products distributor and as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition for a global technology solutions company.  His background includes 20+ years of human resources and talent acquisition experience within global enterprises, as well as mid-stage start-up companies.
 
Mike’s experiences in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions include talent attraction and pipeline development, college relations, employer branding, on-boarding, retention strategies, workforce planning, learning and development, employee relations, compensation and benefit plan design, and employment law.
 
Mike is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) as designated by the HR Certification Institute, and a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).  Mike is an active member of SHRM and current board member for the Staffing Management Association of Southern New England.
 
Mike and his wife, Lisa, live in Southington, CT
