Mike spent over 20 years in the US Navy, where his experience included commanding the most advanced nuclear-powered submarines in complex ASW and UUV operations around the globe, leading a special operations team in reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan, and directing a Naval Operations Center. He also served as a Strategic Advisor for the US Department of Defense, a Senior Evaluation Officer at nuclear power plants, and an advisor to companies providing smart grid technologies to the energy industry.
Mike then grew a software startup focused on industrial AI data integration as the VP Product Management leading to acquisition by GE Digital. At GE Digital Mike led the product team providing data and analytics capabilities as part of the Predix portfolio of industrial software applications including critical asset digital twin technologies. As an Executive Business consultant, Mike led the CACI Naval Sustainment System-Shipyard team advising Puget Sound Naval Shipyard on business optimization strategies and plans to improve nuclear submarine and carrier maintenance availabilities.
Mike and his wife, Susan, have three daughters and live in Gig Harbor, Washington.
