Ryan leads the accounting functions of TM, including oversight, direction, and reporting on the company’s financial health and strategic objectives. He works closely with the executive leadership team including the CEO and CFO to facilitate alignment on operational objectives to fiscal needs of the business.
Ryan has worked for over 20 years with U.S. Government contractors balancing their accounting and regulatory compliance infrastructures in support of their growth strategy. He has supported a wide breadth of contractors ranging in stages from start-up, small business through major contractor status, including those with legacy USG contracting portfolios and those entering the federal market from their traditional commercial market position.
Prior to joining ThayerMahan, Ryan lead a U.S. Government contracts practice and CPA firm dedicated exclusively to U.S. Government contractors. He has deep experience in financial reporting, government contract cost accounting, pricing, interpretation and application of federal contract regulatory compliance requirements including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). He’s worked in the aerospace and defense, architectural and engineering, construction, manufacturing, energy, transportation and technology industries across various Government agencies (e.g., DoD, DOE, USAID, etc.).
