Scott is responsible for ThayerMahan Ocean Technology product development and manufacturing. He has nearly 20 years of experience leading engineering and manufacturing efforts for the maritime market. As a Design Engineer in an R&D environment, implemented LEAN principles as they relate to design and manufacturing methodologies as a Manufacturing Engineer, created a new market approach to creating turn key engineering solutions for customers as a Project / Engineering Manager, managed the development of new products, improved quality, and increased productivity to meet budget and strategic targets as an Engineering Manager, and developed cutting edge sonar products integrated into AUV and towed systems as a Director of Engineering.
